Toys
Since 1984, the transformers have been a worldwide success and is considered to be one of the greatest toylines ever made. Originally, transformers started off as a line of toys called diaclone. It wasn't until Hasbro discovered the Diaclone line and struck a deal with Takara, that transformers was born. Though the franchise has gone through different appearances, the core mechanic of "robots in disguise" is still prevalent.
